Every single thing Beth does is to improve the lives of those around her, particularly those on the Northside of Madison. She works with individuals with disabilities as a Community Support Coordinator at Options in Community Living, making herself available to her clients around the clock. As a former Mendota Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) vice president and current secretary, a founding member of the Green Team, and Mendota Community School committee member and volunteer, she has contributed significantly to the experiences of students at Mendota Community  Elementary School, which hosts Open School House nights and recently launched a food pantry. She serves as the secretary of the Common Wealth Development board and as a member of the Wispact and the Community Land Trust boards. She has also served multiple years as president of the board at the Troy Gardens Co-Housing Community. If that isn’t enough, she was an important contributor and continues to refine the local program for Safe Routes to Schools. Beth is a bright light in our community and a
wonderful friend.
