Esther Wolobah is a senior at East High School. As an immigrant, Esther moved here with her parents to support the growth of her extended family. Esther is a quiet force for good: an artist, a peacekeeper and peacemaker and a genuine kind heart. Esther was already a role model for all the younger kids in her apartment complex when she first joined Madison Starlings, a youth volleyball club that plays competitively while building community and developing the leadership skills of its athletes.

Esther shares her love of the game with kids out in the community each time she goes out to teach and play with them. Esther is consistent, committed and steady, and this draws other kids to join Madison Starlings volleyball as well. Her electric smile is unmatched. Esther served as a summer youth coach in 2018 and 2019, where she demonstrated proper techniques to younger players. She is a positive leader, both on the court and everywhere she goes, showing the way to be a good neighbor to everyone around her. She will be missed when she graduates and moves on to her next exciting adventure.
