Wild Warner

Come learn about the latest Warner Park wildness on our Facebook page (facebook.com/groups/WildWarner). Non-Facebookers are welcome to email wolf.kathlean@zoho.com for the latest news and activity updates. Most of our activities will also be posted on the Nextdoor.com website for Northside neighborhoods, and may be listed on the Madison City Parks website.

Bird and Nature Walks will be available through virtual video and maps. For additional resources, or to be connected with a Wisconsin Master Naturalist who can help your family have an exciting learning experience, contact Paul Noeldner at paul_noeldner@hotmail.com.

Volunteers are needed for “Work Together, Stay Apart” projects, including:

  • tree fencing (to keep the peace with our beaver neighbors)
  • Wisconsin Turtle Conservation Project activities
  • trash pickup
  • removing invasive species
  • native shrub plantings

Watch for temporary signage and volunteer stations in the park. To participate in these important activities, check our Facebook page or email Paul Noeldner or Kathlean Wolf.
