Since 1994, Vera Court Neighborhood Center’s mission has been to support its community in addressing the needs identified by its residents. We will continue this mission in 2021 by creating a community asset map, which is just what it sounds like: a physical map of community assets (valuable strengths).

To create this map, we will distribute surveys and conduct interviews with community members and organizations to identify community strengths and needs, along with any barriers to access community services. Our goal with this community asset map is to further improve Vera Court’s programming and connect with organizations and community members so we can build upon our existing community strengths.
