The congregation of St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2126 N. Sherman Ave., is pleased to introduce our new pastor, Grant Sorenson. Pastor Sorenson was raised in Indianapolis and is the youngest of five children. He knew at a young age that he wanted to become a pastor and told his parents of his intentions. Grant followed in his two brothers’ footsteps, as all three boys became pastors.

In May 2020, he received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He received and accepted our call here at St. Paul and was ordained and installed in June 2020.

Pastor Sorenson and his wife, Kim, have a son, Alexander James. The family has purchased a home and are happy to be here with us.

Pastor Sorenson seeks to help, care for and support our neighbors and community here on the Northside by being an open resource for all people. He seeks to share the love of Christ in our community and teach of Christ’s love for all people.

Pastor Sorenson and the St. Paul congregation invite everyone to attend our worship services Sundays at 9:30 am and Wednesdays at 6 pm. We also invite you to check out our website at stpaulmadison.org

Welcome to St. Paul and Madison, Pastor Sorenson. We’re excited to have you as our new pastor.
