Troy Farm is a five-acre organic vegetable farm located at 502 Troy Drive and is part of the nonprofit organization Rooted. Madison residents have long enjoyed the wide variety of organic vegetables grown and sold at the farm stand Thursday evenings from June to October. Troy Farm also sells vegetables at the Northside Farmers Market.

Rooted and Troy Farm are committed to making fresh vegetables from the farm available to as many Madison families as possible. Families who income-qualify and who sign up as farm members are eligible for discounts of up to 75% on the farm’s produce.

Everyone is welcome to visit us and purchase vegetables at our farm stand or the farmers market, but there are special perks available to farm members. Troy Farm members purchase credit in advance to use at the farm stand. Members have the flexibility to use as much or as little credit as they choose each week, taking home only the vegetables they want. Only farm members are eligible to receive discounts based on family income. Members also have access to special offers, a U-pick flower garden, and the farm’s weekly newsletter.

Membership for Troy Farm’s 2021 season is now open. Membership payments can be made using WIC or SNAP benefits. For more information about becoming a Troy Farm member or to learn more about qualifying for a membership discount, visit rootedwi.org/farms/troy-farm or contact the Rooted office at 608-240-0409.
