The City of Madison and Madison Parks have been working around the clock in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic while also continuing operations and delivering essential services to residents. If, like me, you are working from home, balancing work, keeping children busy, and navigating through the overwhelming amount of email communication has been quite the task. I encourage you to stay connected to the information and resources being shared across the community and take care of yourself and your family during this difficult time.

As of March 16, the Warner Park Community Recreation Center is closed to the public until further notice, at the recommendation of Public Health Madison & Dane County, to mitigate the spread of coronavirus. All programs, events and reservations are canceled through the end of April and likely to continue. We will provide updates as they are available.

The 16th Annual Spring Fest Arts and Crafts Fair has been postponed to June 27, due to the Public Health Madison & Dane County order on limiting gatherings of 10 or more people. Vendors that would like a refund should contact Carie Abarca at cabarca@cityofmadison.com or 608-245-3669. We will resume marketing efforts for the new date. All allocated spaces will remain the same. If the gathering restriction is still active on the postponed date, the event will be canceled and refunds issued to all vendors.

Don’t forget to wash your hands and practice social distancing. We hope to see you soon. Stay healthy.
