Ongoing events:

Storytelling: First Tuesday of each month, 1 pm. Storytelling is a means for sharing and interpreting experiences. Stories are universal in that they can bridge cultural, linguistic and age-related divides. Learning is most effective when it takes place in social environments that provide authentic social cues about how knowledge is to be applied. Stories function as a tool to pass on knowledge in a social context. Stop in and check out this new group. Call 243-5252 for more information.

Veterans Discussion and Support Group: First Tuesday of each month, 10:30–11:30 am, facilitated by Dave Hosking, Outreach Specialist with the Department of Veteran Affairs. For more information, call Dave at 264-5342.

Card-Making Club: Second and fourth Wednesdays, 1 pm. Come join this group and let your creative juices flow. Help create homemade cards for all occasions. We sell these cards in the NESCO office Monday–Friday, 8 am–4:30 pm. All proceeds support NESCO programs and services.
