Paul, of Home Depot East, came to Lindbergh Elementary School in December and January to teach first, third, fourth and fifth graders how to build, follow instructions, and use a hammer. Home Depot donated his time and string-art kits for the students. Home Depot also donated Paul’s time to teach Gompers Elementary School third and fourth graders. Paul is kind and helpful, and he allows children to learn, make mistakes and try again.

TASC, a local community business, is also donating their time in a big way. Each year more than 1,000 employees donate their time to make a difference in the community. This year they also helped fund makerspace storage carts, makerspace supplies and care packages for personal items.

The Madison Public Library is donating their time to teach students the art of comic strip making. Library staff visited Lindbergh on March 13 to work with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.

Our schools are fortunate to work with these community partners.
