Reusable shopping bags are now allowed in the store. The bags must be clean and customers must pack their own reusable bags; cashiers will not touch them. If there is a line at the register, the cashier may use new paper bags to limit customer wait time.

As always, purchased products can be returned to the cart so you can bag them outside. Other reusable containers, excepting bulk water jugs, are still prohibited.

Willy North is now open at 8 am daily, rather than 9 am. As with all of our stores, hours earlier than 10 am are reserved for seniors and those with compromised immune systems to shop.

By the time you read this, we expect a few areas of our store will have reopened again.

Bulk aisle: We are working to partially reopen our bulk aisle (where you can buy as much or as little of select products as you would like). Public Health has cleared us to allow customers to use our gravity-fed bulk bins, where customers put a bag under a chute, pull a handle, and collect the product inside the bin. Products like bulk coffee, granola, nuts and other items should be available again. (Check our website for updates before making a special trip.)

Hot bar and salad bar: We are setting up our hot bar and salad bar so customers can tell a staff member what they would like and the staff member will box it up for them. The hot bar menu is available on our website at willystreet.coop/menus/willy-north.

Self-serve coffee: Much like the gravity bins, Public Health previously prohibited self-dispensed products. The prohibition has been lifted. Self-serve coffee will once again return, although customers are not able to bring their own mugs to fill.
