Thursday Nights at Troy is a free, weekly community event, June 6‒Sept. 19, 4–7 pm, at Troy Garden, 502 Troy Drive.

Explore 26 acres of beautiful gardens, prairie trails and community food forest. Shop for local veggies at the Troy Farm stand, pick up a wood-fired pizza made with farm-fresh ingredients and enjoy live music from area artists. Take a tour of the farm or participate in the many other activities offered at Troy.

Troy Community Garden has plots still available for the entire season for a small fee. All plots are 20 feet x 20 feet, with half-size plots also available. As a Troy gardener, you have access to the tools and water needed for a successful gardening experience. Come and be a part of a gardening community. For information, email troy53704@gmail.com.

Family Field Trips. The whole family is invited. Come meet the honey bees, dig for worms in our compost bins, harvest and cook a healthy snack, plant seedlings and create summer memories together.

All family field trips are held 12:30‒2:30 pm. Friday trips at the Troy Kids’ Garden will be June 28–July 19. Tuesday trips at the Goodman Youth Farm will be July 23–Aug. 13. To register, go to communitygroundworks.org/content/family-field-trips.

Troy Garden Day Camp. Play and grow with us this summer at the Troy Kids’ Garden. We will explore winding prairie paths, build forts in the forest, grow veggies and prepare yummy snacks together. All camps are held 9 am‒12 pm and are open to children ages 7‒11. Register at bit.ly/TroyGardensCamp.
