Troy Farm

Rooted is the new nonprofit organization created by the merger of Community GroundWorks and the Center for Resilient Cities. Check out our Northside programs.

Troy Farm Membership:

At Troy Farm we grow all kinds of organic vegetables and teach folks how to raise food and run a business. We sell our produce on Thursday nights from 4–7 pm at 502 Troy Drive starting June 4. All are welcome. You can also find us at the Northside Farmers Market during the market season from 8:30–12:30 on Sundays. Although COVID-19 restrictions have been put in place, we will still have a great selection of produce. Our on-farm practices ensure the safety of the food, our employees, and our customers. We may change our method of distribution at our farm stands and add more pickup locations and home delivery.

Right now we are looking for folks to become members of the farm. No one has to be a member to get our great produce. However, members are eligible to receive a 50% or 75% discount on produce based on income qualification. A limited number of memberships may be available for free. Members also have access to our U-pick flower garden, bulk ordering, and special deals, they receive our weekly farm newsletter and they can join our Farm Facebook group — a great place to connect with other members and share recipes, tips, and stories.

For more details on being a member, how to get produce at a significantly reduced cost or free, or anything else about the farm visit our website (rootedwi.org/farms/troy-farm). You can also call Paul Huber at 920-251-5908.

Troy Farm Plant Sale:

Come check us out at 502 Troy Drive, Saturday, May 9, (Mother’s Day weekend) from 10 am‒3 pm. We will have a great variety of organic garden plants for sale.

Troy Community Garden Plots:

We are currently accepting applications for household garden plots at 500 Troy Drive. They are rented on a sliding scale basis. If you are interested, email troy53704@gmail.com or leave a message for the coordinator at 608-313-5188, and you will be assigned the next available plot.

Troy Farm Summer Camp:

This day camp is 100% outdoors and features daily adventures in the tall-grass prairie, hands-on chicken care, outdoor art projects, gardening and farm-to-table cooking. Whether your child is a future foodie, a budding artist or a plant lover, we are sure to have many exciting experiences exploring and learning together this summer. A limited number of scholarships may be available. Visit our website for
