The following information was compiled by the Northside News

In January, the DNR issued a fish consumption advisory based on data showing PFAS levels of up to 180 parts per billion (PPB) in fish collected from Starkweather Creek and up to 110 PPB in fish collected in Lake Monona. There are two upcoming events hosted by Public Health Madison & Dane County to share test results and discuss how eating fish and touching water from Starkweather Creek can affect your health.

Saturday, Feb. 8 from 10:30-11:30 am and Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 6:30-7:30 pm
