NorthSide Artists Group

The NorthSide Artists Group (NSAG) announces our summer exhibit, which will be held June 30‒July 28 at Lakeview Library, 2845 N. Sherman Ave.

NSAG was formed in 2004 to exhibit the work of artists who live or work on the Northside. From a group of 15, we have grown to about 35 members and encourage others to join us. We are a welcoming, diverse group with varying degrees of artistic skill and a range of artistic media, including watercolors, oils, ceramics, fiber, photography and more.

We have three to five exhibits per year, and each artist can display one or two pieces of art at each exhibit, depending on the number of participants and the space available. Some past venues include Lakeview Library, Manna Cafe, Warner Park Community Recreation Center, Overture Center, Olbrich Gardens, Wisconsin State Capitol and other sites throughout the city.

We have an annual business/planning meeting, but most other communication is through email. You can check out our website (northside-art.org) for more information about who we are and what we do. We continue to work at improving our website and are working to get better connected via Facebook.

If you have questions, contact NSAG Steering Committee member Ron McKinley at rfmckinl@wisc.edu or call 242-0395.
