DreamUp WI announced seven semi-finalists in the second year of a local competition that seeks to meet the Alliance for the American Dream Challenge to increase the net incomes of 10,000 Dane County families by 10% by 2022.  

NPC, through its FEED Dane proposal, is seeking to maximize the power of the local food system by enhancing entrepreneurship infrastructure and using technology to make it easier for consumers to buy local and save money while doing so.

Three WI teams will advance to Schmidt Futures and compete against ideas from Ohio State University, University of Utah, and Arizona State University for up to $1 million in catalytic investment in 2020. DreamUp WI is sponsored by Schmidt Futures, a philanthropic initiative founded by Eric and Wendy Schmidt.
