Scouts BSA Troop 7127

Scouts BSA Troop 7127 is looking for girls who have completed fifth grade and are at least 10 or 11 years old but are under the age of 18. We have started a new troop that has already had fun camping, earning merit badges and attending a weeklong summer camp at Ed Bryant Scout Reservation near Mauston.

We want more girls to join our troop. We know you are out there.

These trailblazers are working with the boys in Troop 127. Both troops meet on most Thursday nights at 6:30 pm at St. Peter Church. Each troop has separate leaders (both men and women in the girls’ troop), and a joint committee to ensure we have a fun schedule that benefits the youth of the Northside.

The two troops have already begun planning for high adventure backpacking during the summer of 2020 at Isle Royale National Park. Planning has also started for high adventure in 2021. These and all activities go on a calendar planned by our scouts. We look to camp every month, have an activity night every month, and work on service projects that benefit the community.

We are looking for more girls to join us and maybe reach the summit as an Eagle Scout. For more information, email Scoutmaster Paul Hughes at psusparks@gmail.com.
