Lindbergh Elementary School

Thank you Lindbergh families, students, staff and community partners. Thanks to all our hard work, Lindbergh students grew 34 points in reading proficiency in third through fifth grades over the past five years. Lindbergh leads the district in reading proficiency growth gains. This is great news.

Need ideas on how to continue to grow in reading? Encourage reading and critical thinking; read aloud to your children, siblings, yourself, dogs or stuffed animals; visit your local library; partner with teachers; read, read, read — books, magazines, newspapers, anything.

We are excited about our growth as we enter our new Madison Metropolitan School District Strategic Framework. The vision remains that “every school will be a thriving school that prepares every student to graduate ready for college, career and community.” For more information on our new strategic framework, see madison.k12.wi.us/framework.
