UW-Health Fair
Monday, Oct. 1, 4:30‒6:30 pm
Join UW-Madison Pharmacy students for an educational health fair on diabetes, immunizations, heart health, organ donation and prescription medication use. Bring your children as this event will have games and posters tailored to elementary-aged children, as well as information for adults.

“Buy the Little Ones a Dolly” by Rose Bingham

Our Great Lakes in the 21st Century: Challenges and Opportunities

Just 3 percent of the earth’s water is fresh water and the Great Lakes have 20 percent of that supply. Two million people worldwide face some sort of water-supply shortages and five million die from water-borne diseases. What are the specific stressors that face our Great Lakes today and what are we doing about it? Anne Moser of the Wisconsin Water Library will introduce the science and the issues facing our precious resource.

Lakeview Library Palooza

Hoarding Disorder Presentation
Monday, Oct. 15, 6:30 pm
Join Margo, a psychotherapist and owner of Courage Counseling where she specializes in hoarding disorder, trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD and grief, including pet grief. Margo will talk about some of the underlying causes of hoarding disorder, and why the reality television shows about hoarding disorder are a manual in what not to do. There will be time for questions and discussion.

Get Smart about Smartphones

Join tech and gadget expert Dave Friedman as he explains some ins and outs of your phone or helps you decide about getting a new phone. He’ll provide some tips and tricks and answer question.

Potluck Community Supper
