Northside Farmers Market

As we enter this busy holiday season, remember to visit the Northside Farmers Market to find quality, locally made gifts. Soaps, cheese, meats, yarn, art, crafts and other finished products are available. You will find us every Sunday until Dec. 16, from 10 am–1 pm, at the Warner Park Community Recreation Center, 1625 Northport Dr. Recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) will continue be eligible for the Double Dollars program as long as funds are available.

After Dec. 16, the market will take a break for the rest of the winter. Look for us again in May 2019 at our usual summer location. Next year marks the 15th year for the Northside Farmers Market. We hope you will join us as a volunteer to help keep the market a comfortable space for the community to gather.

We are grateful for all the people and businesses that come together to make the summer and winter markets happen: our volunteers who set up tents, run the information booth and then put it all away again; Willy Street Co-op for brewing coffee, letting us fill the water jug and providing coffee creamer; Equal Exchange for donating coffee and cups; Northside TownCenter for the generous use of the outdoor space and storage for the tents and carts; and Warner Park Community Recreation Center for their support. Our managers, Sabrina and Matt, have contributed so much to the market these past two years; their commitment to local food networks and passion for the Northside Market really keep the market thriving. Our board members, who volunteer hours to plan the market, keep the business running and also help with set up and take-down when we are short of volunteers. We would love to welcome you to this tight-knit community.

Remember, the winter season ends Dec. 16, 10 am–1 pm, at Warner Park Community Recreation Center.
