Find food and fun at the Northside Farmers Market

By Fiona Stoner
Northside Farmers Market

Join us each Sunday morning at the corner of North Sherman and Northport. There is ample parking and an easygoing, relaxed atmosphere. You can enjoy music while sampling delicious locally grown and prepared foods. It’s your opportunity to buy directly from the people who produce your food and support the local economy.

Dads, stop by the information booth on June 17 to receive your Father’s Day thank you gift.

We have some great music lined up for June and July.

  • June 3, Ren Rodee, acoustic guitar
  • June 10, Eric de los Santos, marimba
  • June 17, Josh Cohen, electric guitar
  • June 24, Ash Grove
  • July 1, Ren Rodee, acoustic guitar
  • July 8, Love Light and Harmony
  • July 15, Kirk Stone, singers and musicians
  • July 22, Cajun Spice Band
  • July 19, Kirk Stone, singers and musicians

It’s a good time to join us as a volunteer. Come to the information booth to learn how to be more involved or go to our website at northsidefarmersmarket.org. Click the “Get Involved Link” for information on how to become a volunteer or apply to provide entertainment at the market. We need volunteers to help set up the dining and information booth tents, get the coffee, run the information booth and then help put it all away at the end of the market.

The Northside Farmers Market happens every Sunday, May 6‒Oct. 21, from 8:30 am–12:30 pm at the Northside TownCenter, 2817 N. Sherman Ave. Find us at the base of the Willy Street Co-op parking lot. We’re easy to get to by walking, bus, bicycle or car, with plenty of parking available.

Sign up for our newsletter (northsidefarmersmarket.org) and find us on Facebook (facebook.com/madNFM) to join our page and receive updates throughout the season.
