Free COVID-19 testing now available
A free community testing site for COVID-19 is now available at the Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison, WI 53713. Anyone over the age of five can be tested. No appointment is necessary, no ID is required to receive a test and you won’t be asked for your immigration status. Spanish and Hmong translators are available onsite.
Drive-thru, bike-up or walk-up testing is available, or call the Public Health Transportation Line at 608-243-0420 for a free ride to the site.
The test is not an antibody test and does not indicate if someone has had COVID-19 in the past. Test results are provided via phone call within 3-5 days.
Testing is available 8 am–4 pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and 8 am–8 pm Tuesday and Thursday. The testing site will be closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day.
The testing site will be open until at least June 6, but that date could be extended.
