The Food Enterprise and Economic Development (FEED) Kitchens are always a busy and exciting place, but on Sat., Aug. 8 from 4-7:30 pm the fun will multiply for anyone who stops by.   Come over to FEED, 1219 N. Sherman Ave., in the Northgate parking lot.  There will be tables and tents, dinner options, entertainment and activities.  And that’s just outside! Come on in the Kitchens for a tour of this state-of-the-art commercial kitchen.

This season’s quarterly bazaar is called A TASTE OF FEED and the whole family can sip and sample. Many food businesses that have started at FEED will be on hand to share samples of their products and tell you how they started their businesses.

Several food carts that call FEED home will be open for business in the parking lot at FEED.  It’ll be a great place for dinner, some activities, a tour and sampling some delicious food

A Taste of FEED is geared for anyone who wants to come down, but especially families who might not otherwise come see the incubator kitchens.

There will be drawings throughout the afternoon and evening for great prizes in addition to all the other fun.

There will be entertainment and activities designed just for young  Northsiders.  One scrumptious activity will be decorating sugar cookies. The cookies will be baked by the students in the bakery training program, and those students will be on hand to help kids master the art of edible decoration.
