Northside Farmers Market

Look for the Northside Farmers Market to be back in our original location facing Sherman Avenue Sunday, May 7. Bring the children for the annual opening day piñata at 10:30 am.

On Mother’s Day, May 14, we will offer a flowering seedling for moms to show our appreciation; stop by the information booth for details.

May 21 is the annual TimeBank Plant Exchange from 9 am–12 pm. Bring your healthy perennial divisions, vegetable seedlings, houseplants, seeds, etc. to trade, give away or sell for TimeBank hours. Bring two, take two. Bring 10, take 10. (Please do not bring more than four hostas or daylilies.)

We are pleased to introduce our new managers, Matt Galle and Sabrina Hilton. They came on board in January and are diligently working to get the new summer season underway. They are passionate about local food and the community building experiences that a farm market offers. Sabrina worked on farms in the state of Washington, as well as in an urban setting providing subsidized produce for low-income residents in St. Louis, Missouri. Matt oversees a local medical clinic’s HIPAA, OSHA and Wisconsin Statute compliance, as well as serving as information technology lead. Please take the time to meet them this summer.

The Northside Farmers Market happens every Sunday morning, 8:30 am‒12:30 pm, from May 7 through Oct. 22, at the Northside TownCenter, 2817 N. Sherman Ave. Find us at the base of the Willy Street Co-op parking lot across from Warner Park. Our location makes it easy to get to by walking, bus, bicycle or car, with plenty of parking available.
