To the editor,

Thank you to the Packer Townhouses and Northport Apartments for their beautiful lights along Northport Drive this winter. Those majestic trees twinkling with thousands of lights are a stunning welcome to the Northside and reflect a sense of pride and beauty for our community.

I can’t imagine the work that went into the installation, but my neighbors and our community websites are raving about the difference these lights have made and the sense of pride they instill.

Thank you to the owners, the maintenance staff and everyone who helped with this installation. I hope they can do this next year, and others on Northport Drive might join in with lights to help beautify our community.
