NewBridge Madison will be holding a golf outing fundraiser Saturday, July 27, at Door Creek Golf Course. For a $100 donation to NewBridge Madison you will get to play 18 holes of golf and support senior adults in our community. The format will be a four person scramble with a shotgun start at 8 am, and a chance to win some nice prizes. You can sign up as a team or an individual. NewBridge Madison’s Monday evening Summer Concert Series begins June 10, 6‒7:30 pm, at the Warner Park Shelter. Older adults, families and people of all ages gather to enjoy free, live music. This year’s line-up includes Funky Chunky (June 10), Who Dat (June 17), Ladies Must Swing (June 24), The Lower 5th (July 8), Pupy Costello (July 15) and Acoplados (July 22). In case of severe weather, July 29 is the make-up date. Grilled brats, hot dogs, veggie dogs, popcorn and soda are available for purchase at the concerts. Transportation is available for senior adults on the north and east side of Madison; call 608-512-0000 ext. 3000 to arrange a ride. Free-will donations are collected during intermission. It was a busy spring for NewBridge Madison. In March we hosted our annual bilingual senior wellness fair for over 150 people. In April we held our Black Tie Bingo fundraiser at Maple Bluff Country Club with over 155 people in attendance. Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers and event sponsors for your support. NewBridge Madison could not provide the quality of programs and services without you.
