  1. You, yes you! You have talented friends and neighbors and you might not even know it. See numbers two and three below.
  2. Carolyn Ann Gantner is an accomplished photographer who excels at capturing the natural world with her camera. About her photograph “At Pope Farm” she says “There is something about the unique splendor of sunflowers that seems to speak to so many. Maybe it’s the way they turn their cheerful faces in solidarity greeting the light. One thing for certain I witnessed during this early evening visit to Pope Farm last year was the joy that so many experienced on this beautiful patch of earth and a reminder of so much to be thankful for.”
  3. Monique J. Isham is a talented artist who follows her creative muse in a number of ways. Her work ranges from detailed botanical illustrations and paintings to lazy pastoral landscapes, usually in watercolors, still life and multi-layered abstracts. She created her watercolor piece “Arbor Abstract” in honor of Arbor Day.
  4. A visit to beautiful Warner Park and the Warner Park Community Recreation Center (WPCRC) is always enjoyable. Our art will be on exhibit from Sept. 22‒Nov. 16. When you visit WPCRC to attend a class, work out, use the gym or have a meeting, take a few minutes to admire the work of your neighbors. Artwork will be hanging in the lobby and down the hallway.
  5. Are you an artist of any level from beginner to professional? Would you like to share your work with the community? Please join us. The NorthSide Artists Group (NSAG) was founded in 2005 with 15 artists and has grown to 35 members. The group is open to all artists who live, work or volunteer on Madison’s Northside. In addition to its exhibits, NSAG holds membership meetings, a summer event and occasional receptions and retreats.

NSAG’s goal is to create a community of artists that work together and support each other. Its focus is providing opportunities for local artists to show their artwork. The organization is a group of artists who respect each other and find resources in others that they may not have individually for themselves.
