The River Food Pantry

Join The River Food Pantry at their largest fundraiser of the year, the 8th Annual Harvest Dinner for Hunger. The event is Sunday, Oct. 1, 4:30–8 pm, at The East Side Club on the beautiful shores of Lake Monona at 3735 Monona Drive.

Enjoy a multicourse meal and local flavors from Madison Originals restaurants Brasserie V, Porta Bella, Liliana’s, CIRC and Daisy Café and Cupcakery, along with a cash bar, silent auctions, raffles and live music. All proceeds will go towards providing food and groceries for hungry families in Dane County that visit The River. Be inspired to join in the fight to feed our neighbors in need with The River Food Pantry.

Tickets to the dinner are $65 per person or $520 for a table of eight. Tickets can be purchased at RiverFoodPantry.org.

The River Food Pantry is Dane County’s busiest food pantry offering free groceries, hot meals, clothing, household goods, and mobile lunches to individuals and families throughout the area. In 2016 The River received 31,400 family visits and distributed over 2.3 million pounds of food. Approximately 39 percent of those served by The River are children and 20 percent are seniors.
