“Exaltation,” a colored pencil drawing by David Carpenter.

The NorthSide Artists Group (NSAG) invites you to view a sampling of our artwork at Warner Park Community Recreation Center between Sept. 20 and Nov. 14. A variety of artwork is being shown, including paintings in oils, acrylics and watercolors. Pen and ink as well as colored pencil drawings are included and a number of fine art photographs are shown. NSAG also includes artists who work in ceramics and fiber arts. Most of the art is for sale.

A Friday evening reception for the artists is planned for a yet-to-be-determined date. The public is welcome to join us.

NSAG was formed in 2004 to exhibit works of art created by artists who live or work on Madison’s Northside. It includes 30 to 40 artists, with varying levels of artistic skills in a variety of mediums. We normally meet only once a year, but host three or four art shows each year in various locations. Our shows are opportunities for our members to sell their art.

Membership in the NorthSide Artists Group is open to any Northsider with an interest in creating art. Since we are not juried, membership involves only a $10 dues payment and mailing list information.
