Madison School & Community Recreation (MSCR) is holding Learn 2 Ride, an event that helps parents and guardians learn hands-on techniques to get their child riding solo on two wheels. The event takes place Sunday, June 4, in the parking lot at Warner Park Community Recreation Center. This innovative approach includes balancing, gliding and pedaling. Participants receive a free bike helmet, helmet fitting, instruction and practice time.

Children must be accompanied by an active companion, 16 years or older, and bring a bike that allows the sitting participant to put both feet completely flat on the ground. The program is open to youth ages 4‒12 years. The cost is $10 for Madison School District residents and $15 for non-residents.

Register now by calling 204-3021 or go to http://mscr.org/our-programs/trips-special-events/learn-2-ride.
