Thank you to everyone who came out for “Patties on the Patio” at Willy North, when we celebrated the completion of our outdoor seating area. We offered a burger, chips and a beverage for $5. The Northside Planning Council’s (NPC) Neighborhood Navigators helped out by taking orders and money, as well as offering information about a variety of community programs to attendees. From each meal sold, $1 went to NPC’s Stable Families, Strong Community initiative.

First Tee of South Central Wisconsin was also there to talk about their innovative organization. That group had received a $2,500 Willy Street Co-op Community Reinvestment Fund grant to provide after-school tutoring, recreation and character development programs for youth enrolled in the elementary and middle schools near Cherokee Country Club.
