Sharon was nominated by Trisha Rosbeck of NESCO for being a volunteer for the North/Eastside Senior Coalition (NESCO) for three years running NESCO’s Technology Appointments as well as serving on the Resource Development Committee.

Trisha wrote, “In the technology appointments, Sharon helps seniors with their computers, smart phones, tablets, and other electronics, from understanding basic features so they can explore and navigate comfortably, to learning about the many things a device can do such as reading e-books and news, searching for information, shopping online, listening to music, and taking, sharing and organizing pictures. This program is so popular, appointments are typically booked months in advance. NESCO has started a new program with Sharon called, ‘Technology Seminars with Sharon.’ Sharon is a great volunteer for NESCO, and she helps so many seniors to feel more comfortable with the electronics that are around them. She really is a Northside unsung hero.”
