Cub Scout Pack 127

Cub Scout Pack 127 is getting started on a new and even more fun year than last year, and it’s not too late for your boy in first through fifth grades to check us out and join the fun. October is a whirlwind of campouts and parties.

Oct. 8‒9 our Cub Scouts have the opportunity to attend the Super Loopy Camporee, held at Camp Indian Trails near Janesville. Last year this event was huge and it promises to be even better this year. Depending upon their age, scouts can participate in activities from theater and stories to fishing to first aid to sports.

Oct. 17 we’ll hold our monthly Pack Party, where we all get together to celebrate our accomplishments and activities from the last month.

Oct. 24 Boy Scout Troop 127 is hosting our annual Halloween Costume Party. Lots of spooky fun and games and even scary treats are part of this party.

Oct. 29‒30 we’re having a Pack Family Campout in the backyard of the Sherman Avenue United Methodist Church, 3705 N. Sherman Ave. We’ll have all the campout necessities (a campfire, marshmallows, s’mores, songs, games and skits) with the convenience of indoor plumbing.

And this is just October; join us and find out about all the fun we have in store for November, December and the rest of the scouting year.

Cub Scouting is for boys in first through fifth grades and their families and offers opportunities for valuable outdoor, community and service experiences.
