There’s a new face at Madison Chiropractic – North. Dr. Paul Mergen started at the clinic in January 2017, joining Dr. Ross Royster and Dr. Justin Rodriguez to help patients maximize their health without the use of drugs or surgery through painless chiropractic adjustments or corrections to the spine or extremities.

Dr. Mergen previously worked for a chiropractic group that owned over 30 chiropractic clinics in northern and central Wisconsin for three years before moving to Madison Chiropractic. He spent the last two years running their Wisconsin Rapids clinic. He grew up in Bloomington, Wisconsin, a Grant county town in southwest Wisconsin. “I was an athlete and worked on the family’s dairy farm while in high school,” said Dr. Mergen. “I once needed the services of a chiropractor after a wrestling injury and found the holistic approach worked. After graduation I majored in pre-Chiropractic at UW-Platteville and then continued my schooling at Palmer Chiropractic School in Iowa.

“I treat patients of all ages who come in with body pain, injuries or wellness checks,” said Dr. Mergen. “I enjoy helping everyone, but because I was an athlete, those with wrist, shoulder or ankle issues often seek me out to help with those injuries.”

“Being able to treat patients in a multi-doctor chiropractor office is a privilege because of the opportunity to collaborate and gain from the insight and wisdom of Dr. Ross Royster’s 36 years of experience, because he has done so much in his career,” said Dr. Mergen. “When a patient comes in on pain meds, it is very satisfying to be able to help them live without pain and to not have to take pain meds. I’m enjoying being a part of the Northside community and look forward to providing a natural approach to better health.
